the six inch zygo cactus

Otherwise known as the Christmas Cactus. There were quite a few of them in bloom at Menards today.

As winter deepens, we take our flower photography where we find it.

  1. Hillary says:

One of the few houseplants I’ve been able to keep alive for years is a christmas cactus. Or rather, three of them. I shoved three small ones in one big pot so it looks like one big one. I water it when I remember (not too often) and for some reason, the thing blooms pretty much non stop from Thanksgiving to about mid March.
