a very dire wide angle

Polaroid CUBE

Fun and games with a jumping corgi and the Polaroid Cube toy camera.  We haven’t seen any of these for a while.  The “big nose” effect is a product of the very wide angle of  this very odd and fun little camera’s fixed lens.  Even when you miss your framing slightly (there is no viewfinder or screen of any kind, after all), the results can be interesting, as in this photo I call “Dire Corgi with the Neighbor’s Lawnmower”.  The curve seen in the curb line at the top of the frame is ultra wide angle barrel distortion, or the fisheye effect.
