a french helicron of 1932

Helicron3-blogEdison, Kekionga’s Radio Whizzbang (that most eccentric young inventor) lives in abandoned motel, dresses in garb from the turn of the previous century, and whirrs around the byways of Salt County in a vehicle he calls his Propeller Phaeton.  People think I made this up, but as always truth (and France) are stranger than fiction.  The model for the PP is this vehicle, described as “A French Helicron of 1932”.  Lovely phrase, that.

This French blue beauty resides, along with so many beautiful things, at the Lane Motor Museum in Nashville Tennessee.  Photo references taken by yours truly.
