There’s a story here as old as teenagers and time: the baseline boy with the crooked ears has to babysit his kid sister; the chimera girl with the long fair hair has to watch her little brother. So why not meet up “by surprise” by the playground in the park?A “double date” with the little sibs may be an cute idea on paper, but the teenagers’ plans have not survived contact with the preteen enemy. They’re going to have to stuff everyone, including the Horrible Creature, with bribes in the form of chips, sweets and fizzies, or the parental units will definitely hear about it. There go both their allowances!
(One of the fun things about an unstructured drawing project is deciding a piece feels like an illustration and making up the corresponding story.)
