I think tumblr is one of the great internet resources for cartoonists, comics readers, or anyone who enjoys the visual arts and/or looking at pictures. I have four tumblrs which may interest my readers.
If you like eclectic photography, or collect original content blogs for your tumblr dashboard, please visit my photo blog, The Osage Orange. See my own personal takes on nature, found art, plants and animals, cars and machines, and anything that catches my eye when I happen to have my camera in my pocket. I’m particularly interested in color and in cropping my images to capture telling details. theosageorange.tumblr.com
My general interest tumblr is a picture file, the Coelacanth Gallery. I’m collecting images that I find interesting, beautiful, funny, inspirational, decorative or just plain cool, and you might like them too. “Posters, prints and postcards, drawings and sketches and photographs. Illustrations. Comics and cartoons. Fine art, found art, fan art. Everything we want to look at more than twice.” Plus reference images of cars, animals, people, costumes, and all kinds of stuff I’m gathering for specific projects. coelacanthgallery.tumblr.com
And for all kinds of resources for making your own comics (or for working on any creative endeavor) from storytelling and art to layout and design, plus examples and advice, take a look through the Hopelessly Lost Toolbox!

Just for fun, I also collect pictures of people, animals and things shown in profile. The images range from photographs to scientific illustrations to posters to paintings– all they have in common is that they are Looking Left and Right. LL&R is a queued blog that updates four times a day, so you will always have a fresh profile when you need one.
