It is not my usual practice to make my sketchbook drawings particularly realistic. I prefer to explore the fringes where the quotidian meets the whimsical meets the slightly fantastic, and most of these drawings are made with a fairly light touch.
This one is more truthful. Younger, more sensitive viewers may wish to look away. This is a brutally realistic depiction of the inside of my brain, and it is a very silly place.
I wasn’t kidding. This is a realistic drawing. I honestly want to work seriously, but this guy is always stealing my brush.

Mad props for making the hands of the wings actually do something useful (or sinister, in this case. Give Pam back her brush, you bastard!)
Yeah, I’ve been spending a lot of my doodling time trying to figure out ways of making the thumb and single useful finger of this kind of wing do something interesting both for the character in question and the drawing.
