The reason restaurants put paper placemats on their tables is to give us something to draw on, right? I thought this year I would post my better placemat sketches.

- Medium: ballpoint pen
- Subject(s): Youth with shoulder dragon, werewolf in Roman dress, another dragon, little dog.
- On the other side: ad for Santa Fe Steakburger ‘n Fries
Nice to know I’m not the only one who does this! Unfortunately, servers refuse to accept my placemat drawings for a tip. Hope you fare better!
Sometimes I give them away, with the URL of this site on them. I figure I’ll trade a tip for a new blog reader any day.
