This is that very rare drawing of the day: one I thought about for hours and hours before I started drawing it.  It looks everything and nothing like the image I was turning over in my head.  I had no idea that the female figure had wings until I drew them, (if they are wings, and not an element of cosplay),  and the nightmare creature is so unlike what I thought it would look like that I barely recognize it.   That said, I am sure that this little Gorey kid is definitely a character with a name and a purpose.  Her surname is Norwood,  I know that much.

I think I will clean up this drawing and possibly add a bit of color to it, and see what happens.  I may also revisit the whole concept, now that Miss Norwood has become a person to me.
